Here is my pithy take on Grief and Guilt. (Or any other feelings you choose to name)
“None are real, until we think they are”
All are merely words that we use to describe the temporarily unpleasant feelings every human on the planet sometimes experiences.
We name our feelings in the hope that by doing so we will understand them, that they will make sense. We are forever looking to the outside, to the world of form, to explain our feelings. We look out into form via our senses and choose explanations for the feelings we have based on what we see as happening in our lives in that moment.
We ask ourselves questions like why do I feel this way and answer them with words like I feel this way because…All the while missing the simple truth that feeling is a spiritual experience not one of form. Our, ego and intellect are of form. Form cannot provide answers or causes to why we feel the way we do. Ever!
It is only when we can embrace our feelings without commas, buts and names, without the need for understanding that we make way for new thought and peace.
We are all miracles, unbroken, and mentally healthy except for the times we think we are not.
