We are so good at stopping ourselves from having what we want.
Whether it is something material, maybe a better job or something less tangible like being happy. We stand in our own way.
Often sayings things like, “I really want” (something) BUT here is a list of reasons why this thing that I want cannot be mine.Have you ever done that?
Maybe something like “I really want to have a job I love BUT I can’t leave my job because I might not succeed at what I love.
I invite you to substitute “BUT” for “AND” Try it out, see how it fits. “I want…and” feels better doesn’t it. More positive, right!?
